PDF Butler: Track Changes in DocConfig and Special Characters

We’re excited to announce two new enhancements to PDF Butler that will streamline your document generation processes and improve your overall experience. Let’s dive into the details:

1. Enhanced Document Tracking with "Track Changes" Option

Now admins have the ability to track changes in the Doc Config, specifically for DOCX generation. This feature empowers you to monitor any modifications made to the document after download, ensuring transparency and control over document revisions.

Here’s how it works:

  • Admins can now tick the “Track Changes” option within the Doc Config MetaData settings.
  • Once enabled, any user with access can generate the DOCX document, download it, and observe real-time changes made to the document.
  • From minor edits to substantial revisions, you’ll have a clear view of every change made, empowering seamless collaboration and precise document management.

2. Support for Special Characters during Data Migration

At PDF Butler, we understand the importance of inclusivity and global compatibility. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce expanded support for special characters, including Greek, Japanese, and Ukrainian characters, during data migration using the Data Migration Wizard with a JSON file.
