Connecting to the Peppol Test Network #
When an admin or user installs our package for the Peppol Network and validates their credentials with PDF Butler, the PDF Butler username is automatically connected to the Peppol Test Network.
This test environment can be used at any time. We recommend using the dummy Peppol IDs provided in the documentation when testing.
Any invoice sent through the Test Network has no legal value or commitment. This means that it will not create any real obligations or impact for either the sender or the receiver. The Test Network is intended purely for testing and validation purposes.
Migrating to the Production Network #
If you want to migrate your setup to the Production Network, an additional step is required.
Even after completing the migration to your production org, your PDF Butler username will remain connected to the Test Network by default. To start sending real invoices, you must request our Support team to connect your user to the Peppol Production Network.
Once the request has been processed and you receive confirmation from our team, your account will be connected to the Production Network and you will be able to send legally valid invoices through Peppol.
